Designed by Smith & Wesson, the DX hand-detachable front sight system adds a great deal of flexibility to revolvers. Without recourse to a gunsmith or special tools, it is a simple matter to detach and interchange front sight blades. Available in blue and stainless steel except as noted. Fine machine finish is easily polished or matted. Coupled with our Rough Country rear sights, shooters can change heights and styles, to accommodate a wide variety of loads and shooting conditions. Blades are available from SDM Fabricators, XS Sights and others. Blank and custom blades are available from Bowen Classic Arms Corp. Installation for most bases will require the services of a skilled gunsmith; Instructions and blade sources included.
